This study aims to examine the use of majaz (figurative expressions) and ijaz (concise expressions) in the teaching of balaghah (Arabic rhetoric) through a comparative analysis of classical and contemporary texts. The researcher employs a literature review method, gathering relevant information and scholarly works related to the subject. This process involves in-depth and critical analysis of the available literature to address the identified research problem. The written data sources in this study are classified into two categories: primary and secondary data. Primary data are derived from books and academic works that directly discuss the topic under investigation. Secondary data refer to information obtained indirectly through supporting references. Data collection techniques include documentation, textual observation, and data triangulation to enhance the validity of the research findings.
