Poverty dalam Perspektif Hadis: Menyikapi Fenomena Kemiskinan di Era Kontemporer

Abstract

Poverty as a constant source of problems in human life all over the world causes various negative impacts. Poverty alleviation is the main focus of Islam to guide humanity towards a prosperous life and release them from the shackles of poverty. The Prophetic Hadiths, as the base of Islamic teachings, also provide a response to the problem of poverty. This research is a library research using the thematic method of poverty traditions. The results of the research using the thematic method are broadly covered in 3 things; the definition and virtues of poverty, how to respond to poverty, and attitudes towards the poor. The results of the research are expected to be an insight as well as a foundation for developing further discussion.
