About the Journal

Al-Hukmiyyah: Journal of Islamic Legal Studies is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to the exploration and analysis of Islamic law (Sharia) in both historical and contemporary contexts. The journal provides a platform for scholars, researchers, and practitioners to disseminate original research, critical reviews, and thought-provoking discussions on a wide range of topics within Islamic legal studies. Al-Hukmiyyah: Journal of Islamic Legal Studies is published biannually, with issues released in April and October. By fostering rigorous academic inquiry and promoting a deeper understanding of Islamic legal traditions, Al-Hukmiyyah aims to contribute meaningfully to the global discourse on law, justice, and ethics in the Islamic world.
